2. 2013 Monticello Recreation Soccer
   Thank you for participating in the 2013 Monticello Youth Soccer Program. Listed below are several important items regarding this year's program. Please note, the registration deadline date is July 31st. A $10 late fee will be applied for registrations received after July 31st. Please note, there will be a $4.00 convenience fee for online payments.
4. Divisions for 2013
   Child must be enrolled in eligible grades the 2013 fall school year. Kindergarten; 1st & 2nd grade; 3rd & 4th grade; 5-8th grades
6. Season and Schedule
   Coaches will contact team members by the number on the registration form sometime after August 21st about practice times. Each team will play one game Saturday mornings September 7th - October 26th. No games will be held on Saturday, September 21st. Game times are 8:30am, 9:30am, and 10:30am. Each team will practice at least once a week, at a time and place designated by the coach. In case of severe or wet weather on game day, MPRD staff will post game cancellations on the city website, Recreation hotline, and at the soccer fields. Cancelled games are not made up.
8. General Information
   All games are played at the Monticello High School Sports Complex, south of Kratz Road. Your child's coach will tell you what specific field your child's team will play on. ALL PLAYERS must play at least half of every game, providing there are no discipline problems.
10. Equipment
    Registration fees include a team shirt that is the players to keep. Shin guards are MANDATORY for all practices and games. Tennis shoes or soccer shoes are MANDATORY. Plastic cleats only, no metal allowe4d. Please have your child keep off the all weather track while wearing cleats. Shorts and sweat pants are allowed, no jeans may be worn. Hats or jewelry of any kind must not be worn. Casts may be worn if wrapped in padding with doctor approval. Players may bring their own soccer balls to practice. Players may bring their own water jug to all practices and games.
12. Sportsmanship
    As a recreation program, we promote fun, friendship, exercise, soccer basics, and spirit of good sportsmanship among players and parents. Coaches, officials, and players should be given the utmost respect. Verbal abuse or arguing with the officials will NOT be tolerated.
