The City of Monticello is interested in creating a list of available individuals to work part-time, when needed and as-needed.  The list will be used to contact potential part-time, temporary employees when certain tasks need to be completed.  Potential employees on the list may be contacted at the last minute, as specific municipal needs arise.  Pay rates will be determined upon assigning specific tasks..

The list of possible tasks to be performed includes, but is not limited to, pickup and delivery of parts & supplies, office assistance, mowing, weed-eating, snow shoveling, leaf blowing, large truck driving (CDL required), ,andscape waste facility & driving range laborer, clean-up week(s) laborer, street sweeping, trash pickup, brush and leaf pickup, painting, cleaning, videotaping meetings, patching potholes, traffic control, striping recreation fields, filling sandbags, cleaning storm drains, minor building maintenance, storm cleanup, etc.

Applications for part-time temporary help may be picked up and filed at the Monticello Municipal Building, 210 N. Hamilton St.
