When is my Sewer bill mailed?
Your monthly sewer charge is included with your water bill. The bill will show the combined water and sewer charges.

How is my sewer charge figured?
Your monthly sewer charge is directly based off the amount of water used during that reading period.  For example, if you used 3 units of water, you will be billed for 3 units of sewer.  M.C.U.S. customers should be reminded that extra water usage during the summer months will be reflected on their M.C.U.S. sewer portion of the bill.  The billing procedure is to encourage water conservation during the dry, summer months when water shortages may become an issue.

Sewer charges are calculated as the following: $2.50 per unit + $1.00 billing fee.  There is a minimum sewer charge is $3.50.
