Monticello Golf Driving Range (762-7675)
    

The golf driving range is owned and operated by the City of Monticello.  The Range will OPEN on April 1st for the 2010 season.  The range is located at the old City landfill located at 904 Allerton Road.  This range features 3 different types of hitting surfaces: Natural Grass, Sand Trap, or Synthetic Turf Mats.  Several yardage targets are also set up to allow for individuals to get accurate club distance.  A Large bucket of balls (65-75) cost $4 and a Small bucket (35-45) cost $3.  Gift certificates are available year round at the range and at the municipal building.  Golf Clubs are available for use if needed (free).  The range does close during inclement weather conditions.

Golf Lessons

All lessons are offered at the Monticello Driving Range.  Lessons will be offered in the mornings for youth during the summer months.  2010 Sessions will be Session 1 is (June 14-18) & Session 2 is (June 28- July 2).  Ages 6-16.  Classes will meet from 8 - 8:50 A.M. or 9 - 9:50 A.M. daily for 1 week depending on age group.  

  • $35 fee for youth lessons 
  • Registration begins: May 17, 2010
  • Space is limited in each class.
