BEHAVIOR CODE FOR MONTICELLO PARKS AND RECREATION PROGRAMS

We encourage all coaches, participants, spectators and staff to have fun while participating in our parks and recreation programs.  However, certain rules are necessary to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.  The following rules apply to all coaches, officials, participants, spectators, and staff in the Monticello Park and Recreation Programs.  If any of the rules are broken a warning may be given or an individual may be asked to remove themselves from the program and or the premises.

 

Participants Shall:

  1. Refrain from showing disrespect to other coaches, officials, participants, spectators, or staff.
  2. Refrain from using foul language.
  3. Refrain from causing bodily harm to yourself, other coaches, officials, participants, spectators, or staff.
  4. Refrain from damaging program equipment, supplies, and facilities.
  5. Refrain from participating in unlawful activities.
  6. Refrain from emphasizing, "WINNING" as the only goal.
  7. Refrain from using tobacco and / or alcohol on any school or city grounds.
