Mayor Chris Corrie, and wife Lynn, have lived and owned a business in Monticello for the past 21 years. Two grown sons round out the family. Corrie was victorious in his first attempt at city office in 2005 when he was elected to his first term as Alderman on the Monticello City Council.  Mayor Corrie won his first mayoral election in 2009.  He says he brings his good people skills and his interest in maintaining a healthy business community to the council. _ Ward 1      Stanley Eades was elected into his first term as Alderman in 2009.  He can be reached at 762-8209 Tim Hayes hopes to keep Monticello as "the best place to live work, and play in Central Illinois.   Hayes was elected to the current city council in 2003 but previously served as alderman from 1973-1976.  He is a self-employed independent insurance salesperson and masonry contractor.  A father of four, Hayes graduated Monticello High School then went on to attend Illinois Wesleyan.  His phone number is 762-2298.   __Ward 2     Bill Mitze has revisited the Alderman seat after a 6-year stint as mayor.  Mr. Mitze can be reached at 762-2869.
