Legal Notice of Public Hearing Upon Applications for Conditional Use and Variance

A Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held upon the Application for Conditional Use and Variance filed with the City of Monticello Planning & Zoning Board by Josh McConkey, owner of the property legally described as follows:

Lot 3 and E 1/2 of Lot 2 Light Tower Estates, 52 1 33.  Said property commonly known as 785 E. Old Route 47, Monticello, Illinois.

A public hearing will be held at the Planning & Zoning Board meeting scheduled for June 18, 2018 at 7:00pm.  The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers, located at 210 N. Hamilton Street in the City of Monticello, Illinois.  Notice is further given that the above applicant is seeking a Conditional Use Permit to allow an additional accessory structure (shed), and a variance for said shed to exceed the 200sf maximum size in an Urban Residential (RD) zoned district.  All interested persons have the right to appear at the public hearing and present evidence.
