Monticello Community Garden Accepting Applications

The Monticello Area Community Garden will be open for growing in spring of 2018.

The community garden is located on Medical Center Drive, just south of Kirby Medical Center.  Water is available, but tenants must bring their own equipment.  Parking is available in the Kirby Medical Center parking lot.

The community garden began in 2016, through a partnership with the University of Illinois Extension, Kirby Medical Center, Piatt County and the City of Monticello.  Plots are 12x12 ($30) and 12x24 ($50) in size, and there will be a $30 security deposit required. Due to the limited number of plots available this first year, interested persons are asked to reserve their spot today by following the link below. Fees will be invoiced upon application.

The produce from these gardens is for the use of those who rent the plots and will not open to the public to come and pick.
