Tanna Wright has requested a conditional use permit to allow a major home occupation at 703 Adams Street (RD zone).  The owner wishes to open a home preschool and daycare business in a residence.  As per section 153.031 (C) of the Municipal Code, this constitutes a major home occupation and a conditional use permit to allow this use would be required.

As part of the above request, the applicant would like the ability to care for more than 8 children full time at the location.  Section 153.031(C)(7) of the Municipal Code limits the number of children in full time care to 8, and the applicant is requesting a variance to this regulation.
